My presets disappeared — where did they go?
Presets live in Blender's add-on data folder, not inside your .blend file, so they follow you across files and versions. If a list looks empty, check the category filter, or that the data folder path wasn't changed.
Does Stowaway work with Octane, V-Ray, or RenderMan?
Yes — third-party engine settings are captured the same way Cycles and EEVEE are, including V-Ray Render Channels and RenderMan AOVs, as long as that engine's own Blender integration is installed and active.
What's the difference between Free and Pro?
Free covers render and scene presets — resolution, samples, output, engine settings, categories, and search. Pro adds Workspace Presets: saving and restoring entire UI layouts and viewport states.
A preset didn't change everything I expected.
Open the preview dialog before applying — it shows every setting the preset will change, current value beside new, with a checkbox on each, so you can untick anything you'd rather keep.
