v1.0.0

Initial release

v1.0.1

October 2, 2026

-Quick Presets now shows the preview before applying. Applying a preset from the Quick Presets popup (pie menu → Scene Presets) used to apply it immediately, even with Preview Changes Before Applying turned on. It now opens the same preview dialog as every other way of applying a preset. Your saved presets are unchanged.
-V-Ray render channel settings no longer leak into other engines' presets. With V-Ray installed alongside another render engine, saving a preset while a different engine was active could carry V-Ray's channel data along with it. Applying that preset later could then report a V-Ray setting as "removed". Single-engine setups were never affected. Re-saving an affected preset clears the leftover data.
-Matrix-type settings no longer crash Save and Update, and now load correctly. A few V-Ray and RenderMan settings store a Matrix value (a grid of numbers). Saving a preset containing one could crash, and the value could fail to restore on apply. Both are fixed.
-Declared a permission for reading and writing your chosen folder. The extension now declares the files permission for the presets, workspaces, backups and exports you choose to save. No behavior changed.

v1.0.2

October 5, 2026

-Save Preset now keeps your custom settings. When you tick Set Custom Settings in the Save Preset dialog and click OK, your scene now stays on the settings you chose. Before, the scene snapped back the moment you clicked OK, even though the preset itself had saved correctly. Cancel still undoes everything: no preset is saved and your scene is untouched.
-Damaged preset files now explain themselves. If a preset file has been damaged, for example by an interrupted copy, applying it now shows a short, clear message and leaves your scene alone. You no longer get a wall of error text, and no Undo button appears for something that was never applied.
-Faster, lighter preset list. The list no longer re-reads every preset file each time it refreshes. Files that haven't changed are remembered, so large libraries, and libraries on network drives, do noticeably less work after each action. The list looks and behaves exactly as before.
-Clearer warnings when something can't be saved. If Stowaway can't keep the previous version of a preset while saving or updating, it now tells you instead of carrying on silently. Cancelling a settings dialog also warns you if your scene settings couldn't be put back.
-Cleaner shutdown. Disabling the add-on now also cancels its short startup timers. Some internal housekeeping also removed unused code. There is no visible change.
-Per-user temporary folder (Stowaway Pro). Deleted Workspaces held for Undo are now kept in a folder named for the current user, so accounts sharing one machine can't touch each other's.
